Lake Okeechobee Florida Bass Factory

Monday, April 11th, 2011

The last two days I had the pleasure to take Jerry,John and Mark O’Brien from South Carolina  fishing. The first day they started catching as soon as we got started and the fish got bigger as we went thru the day. The first day was the best I or anyone could ask for with all three guys catching there biggest bass ever and lots of them. I did not know if day two could get better for them but it did. Both days they fished with light tackle spinning and was extra sharp on day two. This will be a trip we all will remember.

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Florida Bass Guide Mark Shepard report for Lake Okeechobee

Saturday, March 26th, 2011

The last few weeks the fishing has been amazing with lots of big fish and a different adventure every day. Each day is a different day because of weather and wind and if you know the lake you can take advantage of the weather to your favor. Thrue the weather changes my guest were able to catch fish a lot of different ways they fished crank baits and catch 2 at a time to flipping and swim baits and frogs. I have not fished much live bait mostly artificial. I like to take all types of fisherman and share techniques from beginner’s to advanced it is nice when they leave here with new techniques it helps them to enjoy the sport more when they are at home or fishing a nother lake. I have had the pleasure to fish with a lot of nice people and here are some of the pics. This lake is the best there is and if you have not fished this lake give it a try.

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Monday, December 6th, 2010

Florida Bass Fishing Report, father and son on Lake Okeechobee.

Fishing with fathers and kids is some of my favorite trips. Trip today is with Keith Lane & son Anthony for Largemouth bass fishing on Lake Okeechobee. The Lanes are taking time out of there busy lives to spend time together and sharing the great outdoors is good way to do that.I love taking my daughter fishing and hunting we have great memories and adventures and I hope to have allot more. When we take our kids outdoors it is not only the adventures you share opportunities to learn about nature, appreciate the beauty and learn to respect it. I believe that you can teach a kid to fish, they will learn a relaxing hobby along with enjoy nature and may avoid trouble.
