South Florida Style Bass Fishing

Monday, September 19th, 2011

My week started off with Nori visiting from Japan. His first two days in Key West and his next 3 days in search of an Everglades Black Bass.  Nori first two days fishing the action packed Everglades & he boated around 50+ bass with about a dozen of them 3 to 7 pounds. All the bass where caught on artificial baits, big snakes and big swim baits. On day three, the mighty Peacock bass in Miami.  Nori boated 12 peacock bass with 3 bonus fish, a Snook and 2 giant Jack Crevalle. I have to say I was a little concerned about the language barrier between Nori and I,but a simple app on my iPhone, talking with Nori was a breeze and It was really nice talking to Nori. Great Guy had a blast and hope he enjoyed the Bass fishing South Florida Style.

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Bass Fishing in South Florida.

Today I had Carolyn and Donald Tomlins from South Carolina, for two days.  The Tomlins fished Lake Okeechobee and the second day Everglades due to heavy
fog for three days, we got a late start each day. This couple managed to catch a few fish at  each location and yes Carolyn caught the nice  6 lb Largmeouth bass & explains her big smile.

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….
