Peacock Bass Fishing in South Florida!

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009

alexbuddnov.

I recently took out repeat clients Sendrena, Alex and Budd out for some hard fighting peacock bass action.  We had an awesome day and Lil Alex was the champ  for the day.

He caught most of the fish and the biggest peacock of the day. What a great Lil fisherman and what a good angler he is going to become!

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Email sent 9/30/09:
I just wanted to thank you for the information you post on your website. Ever since I got out of the Marine corp I have been bass fishing a lot. I didn’t know much about the how’s and where’s of bass fishing since I grew up in a saltwater fishing household.

But thanks to you I have had some excellent fishing trips to the Everglades and one trip to Airport lakes. You guys really seem to know your stuff. Even though I fish from my little 14ft. aluminum boat, I am still getting it done.

So once again thank you for your wonderful website.

Keep up the good work.

I just wanted to let you know how much fun I had fishing on Friday.  I know we didn't catch the numbers, but I can now say I've caught a Peacock bass.  My largest was around 4 lbs and I think we ended up catching 6 or 9 Peacocks with an additional 4 or so Cichlids, which were very fun in thier own right.

Thanks Lori for the email.
I just got back in town and saw the great blog.  Danny Randall, was the name of the man that caught the big 7 plus pound peacock bass.  He is the head basketball coach at Magnolia High School. His daughter just committed to Texas State University to play volleyball, beginning 2011.
Please tell Todd thanks for a great trip and for all of the plastic worms.  They were exactly what my friend that had fished with Todd earlier this past year wanted.

Great trip for all of our party.

Scott Cox June 27 Airport

We just wanted to say thank you so much for the most wonderful experience we had fishing with Captain Tony last weekend.  My dad and I fished a full day for Peacock bass and had an amazing time.  Captain Tony is the best.  We boated over 30 fish; 20 of them Peacock’s; the largest just over 3.5 lbs, and most around 2.5 lbs. We caught 5 different species of fish and created a lifetime of memories!

It was one of the best trips we’ve ever taken!

Thanks again!
