Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

June 2010, onboard with customer Adrian Smith from London here for some bass action. The day started out a little slow, but as it got warmer the Largemouth Bass were smoking. Adrian was out on a Super Half Day (6 hours of fishing trip) in Florida Everglades.  He boated around twenty bass, lots of action, and the biggest going around six pounds.

We look forward to fishing with you in the future!

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Florida Everglades & Peacock Bass fishing Sizzling!

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

The end of June, onboard with John Schnetzer on a two day Bass Fishing Adventure.  John’s first day was really great for challenging  peacocks bass in Miami.  The Peacock bass are the toughest freshwater species in the world, but John caught over eighteen fish & few  peacocks were  six and half pounds.  We moved around a lot and caught fish in all over Airport Lake.

Day two largemouth in the Everglades, nothing is like the action and abundant of wildlife here.   John I met him in the morning at his hotel and headed out to the Everglades we ran for a little while to a ledge that a friend told me about.  We worked the bottom ledge and managed to catch a few nice fish.  In the afternoon the bite shut off, so we moved to another canal system and used frogs for top water action that produced what Bass fishing addicts love the thrill.  Largemouth bass fishing is challenging, the fish has personality, it’s aggressive & intense.  The most want species of freshwater fish when it comes to sport fishing.

It was a great time with John and looking forward to seeing him next year.

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing in the Summer!

Sunday, June 27th, 2010

The summer is here and the weather is warm, but the fish are smart, they’re starting to school on bait-fish. Fishing has been fun, just look at the pictures, big smiles & nice largemouth okeechobee bass.

The early morning  is when the honor roll bass attend class, the fishing has been easy with lite tackle and mostly in the open water which makes for some great fishing. I sure had a lot of fun with everybody over the last few weeks here, so here are the some recent pictures of us on Lake Okeechobee fishing this month. Every day brings a new fishing adventure, with the movement of bait and wind it makes for a new exciting and different day everyday on the Big” O”.

Summer time fishing can be very exciting with a lot of different types of fishing to enjoy for the expert angler and novice alike.

I hope to see ya soon,

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Bass still biting in Everglades

Canals along Alligator Alley among the hottest spots

June 21, 2010|By Steve Waters, Sun Sentinel

Despite the heat, bass continue to bite in the canals along Alligator Alley west of the Miami Canal.

Mike Lendl, the director of the King of the Glades Team Club Trail, said anglers in Sunday’s tournament out of the mile marker 41 boat ramp all caught good numbers of fish, but plastic frogs and big plastic worms were the keys to catching big fish.

Tony Masiello won the tournament with 20.37 pounds. According to Lendl, Masiello caught his fish on the new Sumkina Pro Toad lure and a swimbait.

Lendl and Brett Isackson were second at 20.23 using big plastic worms. Wayne Fellows and Mark Alexander also used big worms to finish third at 20.06 and Fellows had the big bass at 5.57.

J.P. McKay and Paul Wormser were fourth at 16.18 using big worms and Mike Harris and Mike Mahaffey were third at 11.68. Prospective members can call Lendl at 754-246-3198

Congratulations Tony & Brett!

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Miami Peacock Bass Fishing is a Blast!

Sunday, June 20th, 2010

Brett,

I wanted to thank you once again for the Peacock trip last Tuesday.  I had a blast.

Thank you and I am already looking forward to coming down there next year for a peacock and snakehead trip.

 Linn Pearson

**********************************************

June 15, I  had the pleasure of taking out Linn Pearson from Texas on Peacock Bass fishing adventure.
I picked Linn up at  Marriott in Dania right next to the Bass Pro Shop my favorite store.  We usely catch allot of peacocks on  live bait, but that day the Artificial baits  were what the peacocks preferred jerk baits and  rattletrap that day.  Linn caught over thirty exotic hard fighting Peacock bass in super half day of  South Florida Bass Fishing.

Had a great time with Linn and looking forward to seeing him again.

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….
