On March 18 in just a short afternoon, we were able to put together a good day of Florida bass fishing in the Everglades. Today Everglades adventure I had onboard Tyson and Ashley.
We drove out to the Everglades to an area calls Holey land, just a short drive from the urban lands of Fort Lauderdale and be for we knew it we were on the water. The afternoon winds had picked up blowing almost 25mph, making the artificial bite a bit tougher then I like to see it. I had some live bait with us, we manged to find a few sweet spots out of the wind. Once we started catching fish, we finished off the day with some really nice bass.
The picture shows a few nice ones, no giants but all really good size. In all we landed a dozen or more fish in a short 4 hour afternoon trip.
Thanks Tyson and Ashley!
Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

On the morning of March 18, I got to spend time with the McDermott family from New York. We went out with two bass boats in the Florida Everglades known for lots of action and it did not let us down!
This Group has been great repeats since atleast 2005 and they’re always are a blast and a treat to spend time with. We caught over thirty fish on live bait and Capt. Timmy won the big fish contest with this nice six pound three ounce bucket-mouth bass while fishing in the Florida Everglades. This was a good time for everyone, so good we are fishing Lake Okeechobee with them next week.
Thanks Guys!
Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

March 17, another two boat trip on world famous Lake Okeechobee for trophy bass fishing, it was awesome!
A beautiful South Florida day on the lake today, I had the pleasure of shiner fishing with Wayne Hodges & Matt Clark. What a great group of guys, all from Indiana. As the day progressed we had to move around a few times, but once found that sweet spot and bam, bam and bam!
Ever hear early morning fishing or no bite?
Today, feeding time was at lunch time. Look for the fishing on Okeechobee to only get better, water temps have not even reached 70 game when it does…will you be hear?
Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

March 14 on-board with George Wright from Michigan bass fishing on Lake Okeechobee.
George caught fish every where we when only using artificial lures. He fished top water and swim baits which were working best for him.
We had a nice day, large-mouth fishing the “Big O” to be in south Flordia was a trill all by it self but to fish Lake Okeechobee it’s a lifetime dream.
Till next time tight lines and good fishing….
