Peacock Bass fishing Palm Beach

Monday, April 27th, 2009

The Kopek family and friend Nate went on a Bass & Peacock  fishing adventure on April 26, 2009.   There’s only one place to do both in South Florida and that’s Lake Ida and Lake Osborne chain of lakes. The trip end with a mess of fish and good time was had by all.

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Corporate Group from Georgia

April 24 & 25, 2009- Corporate group  from Georgia - Ed Spell &  Stuart Moore that work for the Rexel the Leading  Distributor Worldwide of Electrical Parts.  The Group of three boats with six anglers fished at Lake Okeechobee and caught over 60 fish and landed a Trophy Bass over 10lbs.  The Group also got to fish Florida Everglades on the second day catching many fish as the Everglades is known for the numbers.  Corporate Groups are allot fun with  multi-boats our  fishing guides like to compete with each boat to see which boat catches the most or biggest  fish.

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Retired Military Steve Stephens

April 21 & 22 for  two days I get to spend it with a retired military Steve Stephens from Missouri. We had  a good two days spending time fishing  together in the Florida Everglades. Chief  Steve is real  nice guy we talked about his career in the Military and how his nice wife was for letting him go out this Fishing  Excursion for three days.   Steve spent two days with me in the Everglades and also fished Lake Toho. The first day we had a nasty front come in and we did not get on the water until nine so we fished to dark and caught peacock bass on the second day. We managed to catch a good number of fish on artificial baits what a good guy, I’m going to miss the Chief.

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Allen & Tom Elia Bass Fishing Florida Everglades

On April 15. 2009, I had the pleasure of taking out Allen & son Tom in Florida Everglades for some Largemouth Bass fishing.  They were referred to us from one of our wonderful repeat customers Bill McDermott.  The father and son were just getting the hang of casting artificial lures made by JDC Baits,  when Tom casting  a shaky head worm landed a six pound Bass.  That is what makes our Fishing Adventures a great success and most important a rememberable day for father and son.  The Elia family caught over (37) fish in four hours, can’t wait for Tom to break his record next summer.

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….

Lake Ida with Steve & Ethan Bar-David

April 13, 2009 fishing with Steve Kopek and Ethan on Lake Ida for exotic peacock bass. The father and son wanted artificial fishing, so I had to dig into the box of tricks.  We started with trick one top water and other sub surface jerk baits and on the fourth cast a nice two pound  today was a father son trip for largemouth and peacock bass it was going to be an artificial day so i dug into the box of tricks and started one with top water and one with sub surface jerk baits and bye the fourth cast on the top water lure , Ethan caught a nice two pound peacock.  Ethan was pretty shocked on the explosive power of the peacock bass they are hard fighting fish.   The father Steve shortly after changing lures caught a three pound Peacock Bass.  Once again another remorable father and son day that by  end of the trip we caught over fifteen fish.

Till next time tight lines and good fishing….
