Everglades Bass Fishing

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

Yesterday I took out our long time repeat client Tim Witucky. Tim wanted to try something different this time, so suggested some Everglades flats fishing. This something Tim has never done in South Florida, so off we went deep into the marshes of the Everglades.

The fishing was tougher then it has been, I know we had to cover a lot of water to catch fish. We had a few nice strikes and a lot of misses. As fishing frequently does, it turned out to be a really nice trip for Tim. He boated 25 to 30 fish with the biggest around 3lbs.

Looking forward to seeing Tim again real soon!

Bass Fishing in Palm Beach County

Thursday, January 1st, 2009

Today we had the pleasure of fishing with the Ron Wise and family visiting from Canada. Because of the size of the group they needed two boats, so Captain Donny Biggs and I worked as a team and had a great time do so. We only had a short time to take out the Wise family, as a lot of our vacationing families do they built the trip around other family activities. We start mid-day and with the short amount of time we had, I would say it was a good and fun trip. The family caught a total of 16 and finished it off with a great family photo.

Looking forward to seeing them again next year!
