Lake Summit can be found on the USGS topo map. Lake Summit is a lake in Polk County in the state of Florida. The latitude and longitude coordinates for this lake are 27.9995, -81.6951 and the altitude is 131 feet (40 meters).

Lake Dexter is a lake located just .6 miles from Cypress Gardens, in the state of Central Florida. Fishermen will find a variety of fish including blue catfish, largemouth bass and bluegill here. Whether you’re baitcasting, fly fishing, or spinning your chances of getting a bite here are pretty good. So grab your favorite fly fishing rod and reel, and head out to Lake Summit. If all goes well, the bass will be biting, the catfish will be biting and the bluegill will be grabbing your jigs.

Summertime highs at Lake Summit typically tend to be in the 90’s. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 70’s. Through the wintertime, highs are typically in the ’70s while Lake Summit’s overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 50’s. Camping at Lakeshore Palms Travel Park is always a magnificent experience!
